Always trying new things


I admit, I am a little competitive but I’m most competitive with myself. I love stretching myself, challenging my limits and mastering new things. I get asked ALL the time what workouts I do and my answer is always the same - I do everything, whatever I feel like that day. One week never looks the same as the next. I don’t workout because it’s something I feel like I need to do; it’s something I get the privilege of doing. I enjoy moving my body, being active and trying new things. It’s a gift and something I’m grateful for every single day. Headstands is something I’ve just started playing around with. It’s so much fun and incredibly challenging so I’m exploring it. I’ve also just recently been practicing on the rock wall at my gym and I have every intention of taking it outside to a bigger / more difficult wall when I feel ready. I’m sharing this because I think there is so much to be said about being open to trying new things, challenging ourselves to step outside our comfort zones and most importantly moving our bodies everyday. It doesn’t need to be as extravagant or intense as some of these things but your body is your vessel in life and it’s capable of so much more than we think it is. So explore, play and try new things.
