There’s no such thing as can’t.


When I was a little girl my dad use to say to me “there’s no such thing as can’t. You currently struggle with but you are capable of doing anything you put your mind to”. More often than not he would be telling me that at the gym, perfecting my right cross or roundhouse, but as I’ve grown up it’s something that stuck with me and it’s so prevalent in everything we do. Our thoughts determine how we react to things, what we think and verbalise become our reality. I heard a quote recently and I can’t remember who it was by but it really resonated - “it was only possible because she never thought it was impossible”. We place the limiting beliefs on ourselves. The mind is a powerful tool and we can always do far more than we think we can. If we change our belief we change the outcome.
