Listen to your body. Your body is your journal.


Take note of how you're feeling everyday. When you wake up each morning do you take a minute to listen to your body? Are you tired? Are you energisied? During your workout - are you performing better today than yesterday? Allow your body to guide you into YOUR optimal health. Of course there are suggested foods to eat and avoid, portion guidelines, nutritional balances, ideal water consumptions, exercise schedules etc but everybody is different and when you learn to listen to what your body needs you will truly notice a change in your everyday lifestyle - internally and externally.

  • When you work out today, consider the following:

  • How did you perform in relation to yesterday?

  • Then think back to what choices you made within the last 24 hours.

  • What did you eat?

  • Did you drink alcohol?

  • How did you sleep?

  • How much sleep did I get?

  • Did I drink much water that day?

  • What workout did I do the day before?

  • Did I allow for recovery?

  • Am I more stressed today?

Of course, like anything, this doesn't work immediately. Keep track of your patterns and listen to what works best for you.
