Perspective

Wealth is often categorised through money and tangible items but even though these children have no toys, very little food, one pair of clothes and up until last year sourced all of their water from a large hole dug out in the ground, they are some of the wealthiest kids I’ve ever met. They are wealthy in laughter, gratitude, community and love. I’ve never experienced more of this then when I’m in Tanzania. This village is Mlanda and last year we drilled a water well in this school, now these children no longer need to walk 40+ minutes each day to collect water. The water they drink is now clean and safe. This will be my third year returning to Tanzania, working with E.P.I.C, and I can’t imagine not doing this for the rest of my life. It's changed my life in such a powerful way and we've helped change their lives forever.
