The deeper I dive into this work and truly tap into energy - bringing an awareness to my surroundings and continuing to ask myself questions - the more I bring to the surface and the more I uncover about myself.

Instead of turning away from those things you’re trying to avoid why don’t you try facing them. Unbury them, bring them to the surface and really look at them. Crack those “stories” wide open and HEAL. 3 ways to help do this:
ASK YOURSELF QUESTION
When you catch yourself feeling a certain way about something, ask yourself why you’re feeling that way. Dig a little deeper to the core.
ALLOW THE EMOTIONS IN
When you feel an emotion coming up (sadness, anger, fear) instead of distracting yourself or avoiding it, really allow yourself to sit with the emotion and feel what you need to feel. Let out what your body needs, release that energy. You can do this by crying or dancing depending on whatever emotion is coming up.
JOURNAL This is another perfect way to release those thoughts from your mind and body. Remove them from yourself. Journaling doesn’t even need to make sense. It could be single word or a letter, whatever flows.
