My Muay Thai story ...
Muay Thai has been a passion of mine since I was 8 years old. Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, after school, I would spend hours in the gym learning the fundamentals. The discipline, focus and dedication it takes to truly perfect this sport is mesmerising.
As a little girl my dad's intention was to just have his daughter learn self defence & be able to protect herself. What he wasn’t anticipating was for her to fall in love with it. I would literally beg him to teach me new moves and combinations. Hours were spent in the ring doing pads or on the bag, trying to keep up with World and Australian champion fighters whilst they ran through their circuits.
Since those times it has remained a passion of mine and a constant in my life, starting my training with Fite N Fitness and continuing on with various different independent trainers, including my dad.
Today, I still hold so much love for the sport and it’s a gift for me to be able to teach others. After growing up in this environment, I myself began training clients one-on-one, and over the past few years I have also incorporated Muay Thai / Cardio group training.
